SpiderMetrix launched on June 26, 2000, and is a private organization based in Melbourne, Australia. Managed by founding members and backed by a great team with expertise in information technology, business, psychology, marketing, graphics and advertising.

As long as you are a "real person" of at least 14 years of age, you can register.

There is no limit to how long you last. Most of the time, the survey is designed to take around 15-20 minutes of your time, but if it takes around less of your time, it's okay.

On average, the survey should take about 15-20 minutes. Each survey is different, some may only be 5 minutes long, others may be 35 minutes (and you will earn extra points for them!).

There are three types of surveys: Quickie, which is usually one question for one spiderPoint, Trial (usually 4 to 6 questions, worth around 10 spiderPoints) which allows us to test the full survey before it becomes available, and the survey that is in fully inflatable, complete test, worth at least 20 spiderPoints.

From time to time, we may offer surveys for a 1st Prize. Participation in these surveys will not earn you any spider points, however you will be eligible to win other prizes and awards as indicated to you when submitting the survey.

There are many different ways to collect spiderPoints. Registration, profile completion and a trial test will not only guide you, but also give you the opportunity to participate in weekly polls, contests and earn bonus spiderPoints.

All claims will be paid in the first week of the month following your application. For example, if you applied in May, you will be paid in the first week of June.

We currently use PayPal to settle your claims. If this is not available in your country, please use the email sent to you when submitting your claim to request alternative payment methods.

The quick answer is that for each complete website rating, you can earn 20 spider points. There are also Tests, Surveys and other types of questionnaires worth 1 to 10 points. Some polls have special rewards that can earn up to 100 points. But all of this is not comparable if you think about the spiderPoints you can win the moment you "grow up" into a higher level player.

You will receive 1 spiderPoint for each complete survey your Referred Spiders are taking (as long as you remain a Spider yourself). Just make sure you tell them to enter their Spider Name when signing up. Keep in mind that you won't get any points when they only do Quickies and little polls - the ones that take less than 20 minutes.
